This course aims to help independent Chinese secondary school students comprehensively master geographical knowledge, enhance geographical thinking and spatial awareness. Through systematic learning, students will gain in-depth understanding of geographical phenomena and global issues, cultivating their critical thinking and comprehensive analytical skills.

Course Highlights:

1. Geographical Terminology and Academic Language

   • Geography has its unique technical terms, which help students become familiar with and master commonly used vocabulary and expressions in geography, such as earth structure, climate change, and natural resource distribution.

   • Through chart analysis, map reading, and geographic case studies, students will learn how to correctly use geographical terminology, enhancing their expression and comprehension within the subject.

2. Geographical Phenomena and Global Understanding

   • This course focuses on helping students deeply understand the basic principles and phenomena of physical geography and human geography, such as climate change, population migration, and urbanization processes, and analyze their impacts on human society, the environment, and the economy.
