Our Chinese language course aims to comprehensively develop students' language skills and cultural literacy through the three aspects of grammar, comprehension, and awareness. It helps students grasp the core concepts and practical methods of Chinese, enabling them to confidently apply their Chinese knowledge in daily life and academic settings.
-
Grammar:
In the Chinese language course, "grammar" mainly refers to the study of basic structures, vocabulary, and language rules of Chinese. Students will learn core language concepts such as sentence patterns, grammatical rules, and word collocations. Additionally, students will study key grammatical theories and rules in Chinese, such as parts of speech changes, word order of sentence components, and the use of function words and content words, learning how to use these language tools for accurate and fluent expression.
-
Comprehension:
The Chinese course not only teaches language knowledge but also focuses on helping students understand the cultural connotations and ideological expressions behind the language. Students will deeply analyze different types of Chinese texts to understand how language reflects social history, philosophical thoughts, and cultural traditions. Meanwhile, students will learn to comprehend and analyze various articles, classical poetry, modern prose, classical Chinese, dialogues, and speeches in Chinese, improving their reading comprehension, listening, and cross-cultural communication skills.
-
Awareness:
The Chinese course not only emphasizes grammar learning but also stresses cultivating students' critical thinking and linguistic creativity. Students will apply their knowledge in practical language use to analyze and solve complex language expression problems. Through writing training, oral expression, and cultural exploration, students will enhance their cognitive abilities, learn to think about language from multiple perspectives and levels, and make flexible and appropriate language judgments.
Through this series of teaching content, our Chinese language course not only helps students build a solid language foundation but also cultivates their ability to analyze problems, resolve communication barriers, and cultural differences in real interactions, enabling them to confidently engage in effective communication within Chinese language environments.
