Our Mandarin course aims to comprehensively develop students' language skills and cultural literacy. Through the three aspects of grammar, comprehension, and cognition, it helps students grasp the core concepts and practical applications of Mandarin, enabling them to confidently use Mandarin knowledge in daily life and academic settings.
-
Grammar:
In the Mandarin course, "grammar" mainly refers to learning the basic structure, vocabulary, and language rules of Mandarin. Students will study core language concepts such as sentence patterns, grammar rules, and word collocations. Additionally, students will learn key grammar theories and rules in Mandarin, such as part-of-speech changes, sentence component order, and the use of function words and content words, mastering how to use these language tools for accurate and fluent expression.
-
Comprehension:
The Mandarin course not only teaches language knowledge but also focuses on helping students understand the cultural connotations and ideological expressions behind the language. Students will deeply analyze different types of Mandarin texts to understand how language reflects social history, philosophical ideas, and cultural traditions. Meanwhile, students will learn how to comprehend and analyze various articles, classical poetry, modern texts, classical Chinese, dialogues, and speeches, improving their reading comprehension, listening skills, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
-
Cognition:
The Mandarin course not only emphasizes grammar learning but also stresses cultivating students' critical thinking and linguistic creativity. Students will apply the knowledge learned in real language use to analyze and solve complex language expression problems. Through writing training, oral expression, and cultural exploration, students will enhance their cognitive abilities, learning to think about language from multiple perspectives and levels, and making flexible and appropriate language judgments.
Through this series of teaching contents, our Mandarin course not only helps students build a solid language foundation but also cultivates their ability to analyze problems, overcome communication barriers and cultural differences in practical communication, enabling them to communicate effectively and confidently in Mandarin environments.
