This course aims to comprehensively enhance students' Chinese writing skills. The curriculum covers coherence in each paragraph, effective vocabulary and sentences, the use of idioms and proverbs, as well as techniques for expressing plot twists, helping students clearly express ideas, use rich language, and create vivid storylines in their writing.

1. Coherence in Each Paragraph

   • This course will help students master how to connect each paragraph in an organized way, ensuring clear logic and distinct levels throughout the article. We will teach students to use transition words and connecting sentences to make paragraph transitions more natural and smooth.

   • Students will learn how to guide paragraph content with topic sentences and strengthen the core ideas of paragraphs through supporting details and concluding sentences.

2. Use of Effective Vocabulary and Sentences

   • Appropriate words and vivid sentences can make writing more attractive. This course will help students accumulate commonly used effective vocabulary and sentences to enhance expressive impact.

   • Students will learn how to use rhetorical devices, specific adjectives, and vivid verbs to make their writing more lively and enhance the expressive power of their words.

3. Use of Idioms and Proverbs

   • Idioms and proverbs are indispensable parts of Chinese writing. Proper use of idioms and proverbs can enrich content and enhance the cultural depth and expressiveness of the language.

   • In this course, students will learn how to skillfully use classic idioms and proverbs, such as: "Adding the finishing touch to a dragon painting", "The Foolish Old Man Removes the Mountains", and "The old man lost his horse", making their writing more expressive and impactful.

4. Expressing Plot Twists in Stories

   • Learning to design plot twists in writing, which enriches and makes storylines more interesting, is an important skill to improve writing. We will teach students how to construct engaging storylines through setting suspense, foreshadowing, and climax design.
